Le bâtiment de style château est situé dans un vaste parc sur la Klinkerstraße à Moorrege. Bien qu'il soit connu sous le nom de Château Düneck, il ne s'agit pas d'un château. Il a été conçu comme un manoir pour le riche américano-allemand Michael Lienau, qui l'a fait construire en 1871. L'architecte était son frère Detlef Lienau, qui était considéré comme l'un des architectes américains les plus importants de son temps.
