Le domaine chevaleresque de Kirchscheidungen se trouve dans le quartier de Kirchscheidungen de la commune de Laucha sur l'Unstrut, dans le district de Burgenland en Saxe-Anhalt.
Le château inférieur était un fief saxon et était également appelé Kempnater. Il appartenait aux Knutonen et devait être un monument intéressant. Sur une ancienne image de la bibliothèque du château de Burgscheidungen, expropriée et transportée en 1945, on peut voir : « une ruine pittoresque, proche de l'Unstrut, un donjon circulaire avec le mur adjacent de la chapelle et une tour d'angle, puis reliée par un pont en pierre, une maison massive et spacieuse, mais couverte de paille, avec une porte en arc, le long de la rivière un palissade. » L'image est si « pittoresque » qu'il est impossible de préciser les détails.
