Wilesco est la marque de l'entreprise Wilhelm Schröder GmbH & Co. KG, fabricant de métaux, basée à Lüdenscheid. C'est le plus grand fabricant mondial d'engines à vapeur miniatures.
Wilesco a été fondée en 1912 en tant que Wilhelm Schröder GmbH & Co. Metallwarenfabrik Lüdenscheid, par Wilhelm Schröder et Ernst Wortmann. Initialement, seuls des couverts en aluminium étaient fabriqués jusqu'après la Première Guerre mondiale. Au début des années 1920, des jouets sous forme de miniatures domestiques ont été ajoutés. En 1950, la production d'engines à vapeur miniatures et d'accessoires a commencé. Le rouleau compresseur à vapeur « Old Smoky », produit depuis 1966 et également proposé en tant que locomotive mobile, est très populaire parmi les collectionneurs. Aujourd'hui, Wilesco est le plus grand fabricant mondial de jouets à vapeur. La marque Wilesco provient de la désignation Wilhelm Schröder GmbH & Co.
