Le cimetière forestier de Lauheide est le plus grand cimetière de la ville de Münster en Westphalie, avec plus de 35 000 tombes. Il se trouve directement au bord de l'Ems, à la frontière est de la ville de Münster, mais déjà sur le territoire de Telgte dans le district de Warendorf. Il est néanmoins sous la responsabilité du Bureau des espaces verts et de la protection de l'environnement de la ville de Münster, qui en est le propriétaire. En plus des 1135 tombes de guerre internationales, le cimetière forestier abrite également le soi-disant cimetière anglais, le Münster Heath War Cemetery.
