L’église de Carolinensiel est une église luthérienne située à Carolinensiel, dans la municipalité de Wittmund, en Frise orientale. C’est la seule église au monde qui a été construite sur une digue. Le monument protégé date de 1776 et fait partie du parcours muséal de Carolinensiel.
Lorsqu’en 1730, les premiers habitants se sont installés sur la nouvelle digue après la mise en valeur des terres, ils ont dû compter sur Funnix ou Werdum pour assister à un service religieux. Ce n’est que 40 ans plus tard, en 1770, qu’un permis a été délivré pour la construction de leur propre église. L’église-halle simple en brique avec un toit en croupe a été consacrée le 20 octobre 1776 et est éclairée par quatre grandes fenêtres en plein cintre sur les deux côtés longitudinaux. L’entrée est orientée ouest.
