L’église protestante de montagne de Nimbourg se trouve au sud du village sur le Nimberg. Elle date de 1517 et se trouve sur le site d’une chapelle du 10ème siècle. La construction de l’église avait été commandée par le précepteur Johann Bertonelli pour le compte de l’abbé de Saint-Antoine. Dès 977 et 1236, une église est mentionnée ici dans un document. Le patronage de l’église était Jean-Baptiste. L’église d’origine était orientée vers l’est. Le nouveau bâtiment de 1517 des Antonites, quant à lui, fait face au sud et faisait partie d’un monastère qui a été démoli au 19ème siècle.
