L'aéroport de Francfort-sur-le-Main , situé à Francfort-sur-le-Main, est le plus important aéroport allemand. Il est aussi le troisième aéroport d'Europe desservant le plus grand nombre de destinations internationales derrière l'aéroport de Londres-Heathrow et l'aéroport de Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle. Il est géré par la société Fraport AG, qui lui a donné son surnom, tandis que les mouvements de contestation de la période 1964-1984 lui valent l'autre surnom de Flughafen Frankfurt/Main AG.
