Le château de Schwarzenfeld est un château situé dans la ville de Schwarzenfeld et était le siège des comtes de Holnstein de Bavière. Il a été construit au 14ème siècle et a atteint sa forme finale au 19ème siècle dans le style architectural de l’historicisme romantique. C’est l’emblème de Schwarzenfeld.
Le château a été construit et habité en 1372 par Conrad Pullenhofer avant de devenir la propriété de la noble famille Plankenfels. Ils ont agrandi le bâtiment plutôt discret et ajouté quatre tours au 15ème siècle, qui ont probablement été détruites pendant la guerre de Trente Ans et n’ont pas été reconstruites depuis.
