Hamm AG est un fabricant et distributeur allemand de rouleaux compresseurs basé à Tirschenreuth, en Allemagne. Il s’agit d’une filiale de Wirtgen Group.
Les frères Anton et Franz Hamm, armuriers, ont fondé l’entreprise en 1878 pour construire du matériel agricole. L’entreprise a construit son premier rouleau compresseur à moteur diesel en 1911, à partir d’un dessin d’un Hamm de deuxième génération, Hans Hamm. C’était à une époque où la plupart des rouleaux étaient alimentés par la vapeur. En 1928, l’entreprise abandonne toutes les autres lignes de produits pour se concentrer sur les rouleaux compresseurs. Hamm produit la première transmission intégrale à double tambour de direction intégrale. La société a introduit un rouleau à roues en caoutchouc à traction intégrale et à traction intégrale en 1963, puis a lancé son rouleau vibrant oscillant en 1989.
