Le musée municipal d'Oldenbourg est un musée de la ville d'Oldenbourg. Il a été fondé en 1915 par le collectionneur d'art oldenbourgeois Theodor Francksen.
Le musée comprend actuellement un nouveau bâtiment principal en cours de construction et trois villas historiques, ainsi qu'à deux autres emplacements une artothèque et la tour à poudre. Après la démolition de la Nouvelle Galerie, construite en 1968, au printemps 2022, la construction d'un nouveau bâtiment pour le musée municipal est prévue entre 2022 et 2025. Pendant la phase de construction, le musée est temporairement fermé, mais continue de réaliser des projets en centre-ville dans divers formats d'exposition et de participation jusqu'à sa réouverture. Le directeur du musée municipal est actuellement Steffen Wiegmann.
