Het Stadsmuseum Oldenburg is een museum van de stad Oldenburg. Het werd in 1915 opgericht als stichting van de Oldenburgse kunstverzamelaar Theodor Francksen.
Het museum omvat momenteel een nieuw te bouwen hoofdgebouw en drie historische villa's, evenals op twee andere locaties de Artotheek en de Poederketel. Na de sloop van de in 1968 gebouwde Nieuwe Galerie in het voorjaar van 2022, is er van 2022 tot 2025 een nieuwbouw van het Stadsmuseum gepland. Gedurende de bouwfase is het museum tijdelijk gesloten, maar voert het tot de heropening projecten in de binnenstad in diverse tentoonstellings- en participatieformaten uit. De huidige directeur van het Stadsmuseum is Steffen Wiegmann.
