La gare de Neu-Ulm est la plus grande gare de la grande ville bavaroise de Neu-Ulm. En outre, il y a à Neu-Ulm la gare de Gerlenhofen et l'arrêt Finninger Straße, qui se trouvent toutes deux sur la ligne de chemin de fer Illertalbahn, ainsi que l'arrêt désaffecté de Burlafingen sur la ligne ferroviaire Augsbourg-Ulm.
Inaugurée en 1853, la gare a été transférée jusqu'en 2007 dans le cadre du projet Neu-Ulm 21 dans une structure de fosse ouverte, qui est recouverte au nord-est et au sud-ouest des quais.
