La villa Söhnlein-Pabst dans la capitale hesse Wiesbaden a été construite entre 1903 et 1906 par la communauté d'architectes zurichoise Pfleghard et Haefeli pour le fabricant de vin mousseux Friedrich Wilhelm Söhnlein au Warmen Damm.
Pour donner un peu de sentiment d'appartenance à sa femme américaine Emma Pabst, la villa a été conçue sur le modèle de la Maison Blanche de Washington et est donc aussi appelée Maison Blanche. Cela a probablement été une des raisons pour lesquelles l'autorité militaire américaine a utilisé la villa de 1945 à 1990, dernièrement comme quartier général du site. Depuis 1995, elle appartient au Land de Hesse.
