La Weserwerft Minden GmbH était une entreprise de chantier naval située dans le port de Minden/Ostwestfalen. Ses halles de fabrication ont marqué l'image de la partie de la ville située à droite de la Weser.
En 1918, la Weserwerft a été fondée sous le nom de « Gesellschaft für Schiff- und Maschinenbau mit beschränkter Haftung zu Minden i.W. » au soi-disant Alten Weserhafen. Les principaux actionnaires étaient les sociétés de remorquage de Brême et de Minden ainsi que la ville de Minden. La Weserwerft détenait un brevet pour le « gouvernail universel Schilling », une construction simple et robuste avec de bonnes propriétés de navigation.
