La Weserwerft Minden GmbH era un'azienda cantieristica situata nel porto di Minden/Ostwestfalen. I suoi capannoni industriali caratterizzavano l'immagine della parte della città situata a destra del fiume Weser.
Nel 1918, la Weserwerft fu fondata con il nome di "Schiff- und Maschinenbau Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung zu Minden i.W." nel cosiddetto Vecchio Porto della Weser. I principali soci erano le società di rimorchio di Brema e Minden, nonché la città di Minden. La Weserwerft deteneva un brevetto per il "Timone Universale Schilling", una costruzione semplice e robusta con buone caratteristiche di manovrabilità.
