Le Bonneberg est une montagne d'une hauteur de 170 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer à Vlotho. La montagne se situe dans la partie nord du quartier de Valdorf. Son nom s'explique par la plus ancienne mention connue sous le nom de Bunenberg, c'est-à-dire Bune pour une élévation régulière plus grande. Elle fait géographiquement partie du Weserbergland ou du Lipper Bergland. Le Bonneberg était autrefois également le nom de la hameau de Bonneberg, qui appartenait à l'ancienne commune de Valdorf. Au sud se trouve la réserve naturelle de Paterberg.
