Le lac Römer est un lac situé dans la zone naturelle protégée du même nom près de Heiden. La zone a été désignée comme site protégé en 1950 et avait une superficie de 6,1 ha.
Aujourd'hui, le lac Römer est surtout utilisé comme point d'implantation d'un camping.
Le lac Römer se trouve à environ 3 km au nord du village de Heiden, à la périphérie du massif montagneux appelé Die Berge, qui appartient à la région sableuse de West Münsterland. Sur son côté ouest se trouve la route K55, qui relie Heiden à Ramsdorf. À l'est se trouve un plus grand camping et une colonie de maisons de week-end. Au nord passe la B67.
