Le musée des chemins de fer de Stadtlohn est situé sur l'ancienne ligne ferrée Borken-Burgsteinfurt et a été inauguré en 1996 par le club ferroviaire de Stadtlohn e. V. Il est géré bénévolement par les membres de l'association. Le musée des chemins de fer de Stadtlohn est le seul musée consacré à la compagnie ferroviaire du Schleswig-Westphalie et se trouve dans l'ancien bâtiment de la gare à Stadtlohn.
