Le château de Gracht n'était à l'origine pas un manoir, mais une dépendance de la maison Buschfeld et un fief de la fondation de Dietkirchen à Bonn. Pendant la période de l'administration française, le château de Gracht a été, depuis 1795, un hôpital militaire pendant plusieurs années et a ensuite été abandonné dans un état de ruine. En 1957, la commune de Liblar a acquis le château avec le parc du château et les terres du château. Aujourd'hui, le château de Gracht est utilisé par l'Ecole européenne de management et de technologie pour des séminaires.
