Ravensbrück est un village allemand situé dans la ville de Fürstenberg/Havel, au nord du Brandebourg. Avant son incorporation à Fürstenberg en 1950, Ravensbrück était une commune indépendante. À l’époque nationale-socialiste, Ravensbrück abritait le camp de concentration du même nom. En 1959, le mémorial de Ravensbrück a été inauguré sur l’ancien site de stockage.
Ravensbrück fait partie du paysage historique d’Uckermark et fait partie des territoires du Brandebourg depuis la paix de Wittstock en 1442. Ravensbrück est situé dans la région des petits lacs de Neustrelitz de la région des lacs du Mecklembourg.
