Ravensbrück is een woonplaats van de stad Fürstenberg/Havel in het noorden van de deelstaat Brandenburg. Voor de samenvoeging met Fürstenberg in 1950 was Ravensbrück een zelfstandige gemeente. In de tijd van het nationaal-socialisme bevond zich in Ravensbrück het gelijknamige concentratiekamp. In 1959 werd op de voormalige locatie van het kamp het Herinnerings- en Gedenkcentrum Ravensbrück geopend.
Ravensbrück maakt deel uit van het historische landschap Uckermark en behoort sinds de Vrede van Wittstock in 1442 continu tot de Brandenburgse gebieden. Natuurlijke gezien ligt Ravensbrück in het Neustrelitzer Kleinseenland van het Mecklenburger Merenplateau.
