Le Groß Schauener Seenkette est une chaîne de lacs d’eau peu profonde située dans la réserve naturelle du même nom de 2124,92 hectares, qui existe depuis le 27 avril 2000. Il est situé dans le district de l’Oder-Spree dans la commune de Storkow et comprend six lacs.
Les différents lacs de la chaîne bordent les districts de Groß Schauen, Wochowsee, Selchow, Schwerin et Bugk. Les lacs eux-mêmes, ainsi qu’une partie de la zone environnante, ont été acquis par la Fondation Heinz Sielmann en 2002. Ils forment aujourd’hui le paysage naturel de Sielmann, Groß Schauener Seen, qui fait à son tour partie du parc naturel de Dahme-Heideseen.
