Großmühlingen est un quartier de la commune de Bördeland dans le district de Salzlandkreis en Saxe-Anhalt. Jusqu'au 28 décembre 2007, Großmühlingen était une commune autonome. Le village compte 1059 habitants sur une superficie de 12,75 km².
Le territoire de Großmühlingen est situé au sud-est de la fertile Börde de Magdebourg, à 7 km de la ville la plus proche, Schönebeck. Le village est entouré de terres agricoles légèrement ondulées, qui ont une hauteur moyenne d'environ 75 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer. La plus haute élévation est la colline viticole de 111 m située au sud-est. Le ruisseau Großmühlinger Graben traverse le noyau nord du village, se jetant dans le canal Sol, qui passe à 3 km à l'est.
