Großmühlingen es una localidad del municipio de Bördeland en el distrito de Salzlandkreis en Sajonia-Anhalt. Hasta el 28 de diciembre de 2007, Großmühlingen era un municipio independiente. La localidad tiene 1059 habitantes en una superficie de 12,75 km².
El territorio de Großmühlingen se encuentra en el sureste de la productiva Börde de Magdeburgo, a 7 km de la ciudad más cercana, Schönebeck. La localidad está rodeada de terreno agrícola ligeramente ondulado, que tiene una altura media de aproximadamente 75 m sobre el nivel del mar. La elevación más alta es el viñedo de 111 m de altura situado al sureste. A través del núcleo norte de la localidad fluye el canal Großmühlinger, que desemboca en el canal Sol a 3 km al este.
