Kossa est un quartier de la commune de Laußig dans le district de Nordsachsen, État libre de Saxe. Jusqu'en 2007, Kossa était le village principal de la commune éponyme, qui comprenait les quartiers de Kossa, Authausen, Durchwehna, Görschlitz et Pressel.
Kossa est situé à environ 10 km au nord-est de Bad Düben et à 20 km au nord d'Eilenburg. La B 183 traverse le village. Au nord, la zone de Kossa est bordée par le Land de Saxe-Anhalt. Le paysage est caractérisé par les grandes zones boisées et de landes vallonnées de la Dübener Heide.
