Kossa es una localidad del municipio de Laußig en el distrito de Nordsachsen, Estado Libre de Sajonia. Hasta 2007, Kossa era la localidad principal del municipio del mismo nombre, que incluía las localidades de Kossa, Authausen, Durchwehna, Görschlitz y Pressel.
Kossa se encuentra aproximadamente a 10 km al noreste de Bad Düben y a 20 km al norte de Eilenburg. La B 183 atraviesa la localidad. Al norte, el territorio de Kossa limita con el estado de Sajonia-Anhalt. El paisaje está caracterizado por las grandes y onduladas áreas boscosas y de brezales de la Heide de Düben.
