La carrière de calcaire près de l'étang de Mönchemühlenteich est un affleurement et une carrière abandonnée dans le district de Wernigerode. Il est décrit dans le guide géologique du Harz, partie VI - Blankenburg Harz, publié en 1926. Il possède le géotope n° 4131/5. C'est une carrière non protégée, qui n'est pas classée comme monument naturel.
L'affleurement se trouve près de Blankenburg, dans une petite zone boisée au village de Michaelstein.
