Obersteeg est un village et une ancienne commune allemande de Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie. Il est situé dans la partie nord d’Overath, entre Immekeppel et Brombach an der Sülz.
La cour d’Overath existait depuis 1633. Sa juridiction s’étendait au-delà des domaines appartenant à la paroisse d’Overath. La cour d’Obersteeg était également affiliée à l’Overath Höfeverband avec ses fermes Oberbech, Lokenbach, Wüsterhöhe, Wustsiefen et la Balker Höhe.
