Obersteeg is een deelgemeente van Immekeppel in de stad Overath in de Rheinisch-Bergischen Kreis in Noord-Rijn-Westfalen, Duitsland. Het ligt in het noordelijke deel van Overath tussen Immekeppel en Brombach aan de Sülz.
Sinds 1633 bestond het hofgerecht Overath. De jurisdictie strekte zich uit over de goederen die tot de parochie Overath behoren. Ook het hofgerecht Obersteeg was aangesloten bij de Overather Höfeverband met zijn boerderijen Oberbech, Lokenbach, Wüsterhöhe, Wustsiefen en de Balker Höhe.
