Le château de Wewer fait partie d'un ancien domaine chevaleresque à la lisière du quartier de Wewer à Paderborn, en Rhénanie du Nord-Westphalie. Le complexe du château se compose de plusieurs bâtiments de différentes époques et a été appelé Wewer II au 19e siècle, afin de le distinguer de la propriété Wewer I avec l'Ancien Château de Wewer. En 1838, les deux domaines ont été réunis en une seule propriété par le baron Friedrich Carl von und zu Brenken.
