La source expérimentale de neutrons Heinz Maier-Leibnitz est un réacteur nucléaire situé à Munich, destiné à la production de neutrons à fins de recherche scientifique. Il est nommé en l'honneur du physicien Heinz Maier-Leibnitz, un des principaux scientifiques ayant travaillé sur le précédent réacteur, FRM I.
Le FRM II est situé au voisinage de son prédécesseur, dans le campus de Garching bei München , à l'extrémité d'une ligne de Métro de Munich. Il est assigné à Université technologique de Munich, mais plusieurs autres instituts participent à son utilisation scientifique.
