Aujourd’hui, la Jomos Schuhfabrik Wilhelm Mohr KG est l’une des dernières usines de chaussures à produire en Allemagne. L’entreprise a été fondée en 1928 à Selbitz dans la région de Hof par Johann Mohr. À ce jour, toutes les chaussures de la marque JOMOS sont produites localement à Selbitz.
En 1928, Johann Mohr fonde l’entreprise à Selbitz, sur le site de la Garlesstraße. À cette époque, 600 paires de chaussures étaient produites par an.
