La Stiefelhöhe entre Unter-Abtsteinach et Eiterbach est avec 584 m ü. NHN la cinquième plus haute montagne de l'Odenwald.
La frontière entre le Hessen et le Bade-Wurtemberg traverse la Stiefelhöhe du nord-est au sud-ouest. La majeure partie du sommet avec le point le plus élevé de la montagne se trouve dans la section cadastrale d'Unter-Abtsteinach de la commune d'Abtsteinach dans le district de Bergstraße en Hesse. Les pentes nord-est font partie de la section cadastrale de Wald-Michelbach. Le sud-est au-delà de la frontière est partie de la section cadastrale d'Eiterbach de la commune de Heiligkreuzsteinach. Ici, à proximité du sommet, se trouve à plus de 580 m ü. NHN le point le plus élevé du district de Rhein-Neckar.
