L'église paroissiale catholique Sainte-Marie et Saint-Martin est une ancienne église collégiale à Trêves-Pfalzel. Le bâtiment est protégé en tant que monument historique.
Adela, la fille de sainte Irmine, de la maison des Arnulfinges fonda vers 700 un monastère de bénédictines, qui devint plus tard un chapitre. Elle avait précédemment échangé le village de Pfalzel avec le maire du palais Pipin. Adela fut la première abbesse, et elle soumit le monastère à l'archevêque de Trêves.
