Altenbrak est un quartier de la ville de Thale dans le district du Harz en Saxe-Anhalt, en Allemagne. Il a été reconnu comme station climatique en 2002.
Le village s'étend dans une vallée ouverte d'est en ouest, sur environ 1,6 km le long de la Bode. Il y a trois kilomètres jusqu'au barrage de Wendefurth, qui fait partie du barrage de Rappbode. En raison de la nature, Altenbrak a dû se développer en un village routier clairement défini.
