La caserne Hohenfriedberg à Sparrenbusch était une caserne située à Bad Freienwalde, construite de 1935 à 1936 et utilisée par la Wehrmacht, l’Armée rouge, l’armée soviétique et les forces armées russes jusqu’en 1993.
La caserne a été nommée d’après la bataille de Hohenfriedberg. Le Sparrenbusch est une élévation sur la pente du Barnim vers l’Oderbruch. Le restaurant « Forsthaus Sparrenbusch » a été démoli en 1935 pour faire place à la construction de la nouvelle caserne. La forêt, sur le site de laquelle les casernes ont été construites à partir du milieu des années 1930, porte ce nom car elle appartenait aux propriétés de la famille d’Otto Christoph von Sparr.
