Le Hain des Héros est un monument commémoratif pour les soldats tombés lors de la Première Guerre mondiale à Eberswalde. Il se trouve en bordure de l'Oberheide, au sud de la rue Georg-Herwegh, et est classé au patrimoine.
À la limite de l'Oberheide se trouvait le début du « bosquet de chênes » créé au début du 19e siècle. En l'honneur du chef de l'état-major de l'armée, Paul von Hindenburg, le bosquet de chênes a été renommé « Hain de Hindenburg » en 1917, l'année de la guerre.
