L’Obere Burg Besigheim est un ancien complexe de châteaux situé dans la Kirchstraße, à l’entrée sud de la petite ville de Besigheim, dans l’arrondissement de Ludwigsburg dans le Bade-Wurtemberg, en Allemagne.
Le château a été construit en 1215/30 par le margrave Hermann V de Bade et mentionné en 1312. La maison du château Steinhaus, l’ancien palais du château avec sa cheminée romane et son oriel de toilettes, ainsi que le donjon rond de 36 m de haut avec des pierres de taille à bosse, la Schochenturm du nom du gardien de la tour Schoch, ont été conservés. Au 16ème siècle, un appartement de gardien a été créé. La maison du château est reliée à la tour par l’arc de la porte de la ville.
Le mobilier avec cheminée romane et oriel de toilettes se trouve également dans le château inférieur. Devant la Schochenturm se trouve une stèle Staufer inaugurée en 2011.
