Waldkatzenbach est un village et une ancienne commune allemande située dans l’arrondissement de Neckar-Odenwald dans le Bade-Wurtemberg.
Waldkatzenbach est situé dans la partie sud-est de l’Odenwald dans sa zone de grès rouge sur le Winterhauch, un long plateau qui culmine dans la plus haute montagne de l’Odenwald, le Katzenbuckel. Cette montagne est située à l’ouest du district de Waldkatzenbach et le village est situé au pied de son versant sud-est, qui s’élève au-dessus du Winterhauch. Au nord, la commune descend abruptement dans une vallée d’encoche jusqu’au hameau d’Unterhöllgrund. Et au sud se trouve le village de vacances de Waldbrunn. Le territoire communal s’étend sur 610 hectares, dont 286 hectares sont boisés.
