Bröleck est un quartier de la commune de Ruppichteroth, situé le long de la route fédérale 478. Ici, la Bröl et le Waldbrölbach se rejoignent.
Le lieu portant son nom actuel n'existe que depuis le 16 novembre 1956. Le village de Felderhoferbrücke, qui fait également partie de la commune de Ruppichteroth, avait, selon 95 % des habitants, un nom trop long. La commune a accepté la proposition de changer le nom du village en Bröleck. Les localités de Felderhof, de l'ancienne maison forestière de Tüschenhohn, de Sieferhof, de la Maison Bröleck et de Lindenhof, qui faisaient alors partie de la commune de Winterscheid, ont rejoint le nouveau village avec l'autorisation du conseil municipal de Winterscheid.
