Bröleck è una frazione del comune di Ruppichteroth lungo la strada federale 478. Qui si uniscono il Bröl e il Waldbrölbach.
Il luogo con il suo nome attuale esiste solo dal 16 novembre 1956. Il luogo di Felderhoferbrücke, appartenente al comune di Ruppichteroth, aveva, secondo l'opinione del 95% degli abitanti locali, un nome troppo lungo. Il comune accettò la richiesta di modifica del nome del luogo in Bröleck. Le località di Felderhof, la distrutta foresteria di Tüschenhohn, Sieferhof, Haus Bröleck e Lindenhof, appartenenti all'allora comune di Winterscheid, si unirono al nuovo luogo con l'approvazione del consiglio comunale di Winterscheid.
