Tönisheide est un quartier de la ville de Velbert dans le district de Neviges, dans le district de Mettmann en Rhénanie-du-Nord-Westphalie, en Allemagne. La localité comptait 5 642 habitants au 11 février 2021.
Le village est situé dans le pays de Niederberg sur la branche sud de la crête des hauteurs de Velbert, qui ici atteint son point culminant à 269,2 m. La chaîne de montagnes forme une ligne de partage des eaux, les ruisseaux à l'ouest de la crête s'écoulent par le Angerbach dans le Rhin, ceux à l'est par le Hardenberger Bach dans la Ruhr. Au nord, le district de Velbert Mitte est adjacent, à l'est Neviges et au sud-ouest Wülfrath.
