La Maison Asbeck (ancien domicile des seigneurs d'Asbeck) avec son fossé et ses puissantes fortifications appartenait à l'origine à l'abbaye de Saint-Mauritz à Münster. La ferme est déjà mentionnée en 1151.
Au 19ème siècle, la maison est tombée en ruine et le complexe a été démoli, à l'exception d'un bâtiment de service. Ainsi, il ne reste de la puissante forteresse qu'un ancien bâtiment de service reconverti en maison et des parties du fossé et des fortifications.
