Comme le sentier de randonnée 23 se déroule sur de larges chemins forestiers, la boucle denviron 1,5 heure est également facilement praticable avec des enfants. Laccès au point de départ se fait par la route Forstweg dans le quartier de Salzgitter-Salder. Vous arrivez ainsi par des lacets au bord de la forêt derrière les maisons qui sy trouvent. À gauche de celles-ci, un chemin de gravier mène au parking de randonnée à côté de laire de barbecue de Hasselberg. Du parking, vous devrez revenir en arrière jusquaux maisons pour emprunter le chemin daccès à la véritable entrée du circuit numéro 23 dans la forêt.
