Du parc thermal de Bad Harzburg, le sentier en boucle nous mène à travers les villages de Göttingerode, Harlingerode, Bettingerode, en passant par Westerode et Ottenhai pour revenir à Bad Harzburg. Au bord du chemin, les cafés Goldberg et Winuwuk invitent à la détente.
L'office du tourisme propose gratuitement un plan de la ville et des informations succinctes sur le sentier en boucle.
