Du départ à Rüthen à Büren, on descend d'abord. Ensuite, jusqu'à Bad Wünnenberg, il faut pédaler fort, car ça monte constamment.
Le barrage pittoresque du Aabachtalsperre est contourné, suivi immédiatement d'une montée raide vers Bleiwäsche. Sur le prochain tronçon du tour jusqu'à Alme, où se trouve la source de la rivière du même nom, on redescend. Une dernière montée et le tour se termine à Rüthen.
