Jusqu'au 1er janvier 2007, la municipalité de Hanstholm était une municipalité danoise du comté de Viborg sur la côte nord-ouest de Vendsyssel-Thy, une partie de la péninsule du Jutland dans l'ouest du Danemark. La municipalité couvrait une superficie de 216 km² et avait une population totale de 5 786 habitants. Son dernier maire était Ejner Frøkjær, un membre du parti politique des sociaux-démocrates. La ville principale et le site de son conseil municipal était la ville de Hanstholm.
