Le Castell des Trois Dragons est situé dans le parc de la Ciutadella. Ce parc a été créé pour la première exposition universelle en 1888.
Le Castell dels Tres Dragons signifie le château des trois dragons et a été conçu par l'architecte Lluis Domenech i Montaner.
Lors de l'inauguration, ce bâtiment servait de restaurant. Aujourd'hui, il abrite le Musée de Zoologie. Ce musée présente des animaux empaillés, des ossements et des animaux conservés dans l'alcool.
Le bâtiment est fortement inspiré par la fantaisie médiévale et les carreaux rappellent beaucoup le Delft bleu néerlandais.
Dans le bâtiment se trouve encore un petit restaurant avec une terrasse extérieure sur le côté.
Il est plus facile d'y accéder en prenant la ligne de métro L1 et en descendant à la station de métro Arc del Triomphe.
