The Castle of the Three Dragons is located in the city park la Ciutadella. This park was created for the first world exposition in 1888.
Castell dels Tres Dragons means the castle of the three dragons and was designed by the architect Lluis Domenech i Montaner.
During its opening, this building served as a restaurant. It is now home to the Museum of Zoology. This museum displays stuffed animals, bones, and animals preserved in alcohol.
The building is very much based on medieval fantasy and the tiles strongly resemble Dutch Delft Blue.
There is still a small restaurant in the building with an outdoor terrace on the side.
The easiest way to get there is by metro line L1 and getting off at the Arc del Triomf metro station.
