Le château de Mogente est une forteresse située sur le territoire municipal de Mogente, sur une montagne d'où l'on domine la population.
Des fouilles récentes ont mis en évidence des restes d'un village de l'âge du bronze à l'endroit où se trouve le château. Cependant, l'origine du château semble remonter à l'époque arabe, et principalement, à l'époque almohade. Dans sa construction, on peut apprécier différents styles et techniques.
